I just finished watching the Disney version of Cinderella, and I so totally loved it. It’s a beautiful, heart-warming story.
I find it amazing and it often leaves me full of gratitude at how many reminders of what we need to do are around us in the people we meet, the films we watch, and the songs we hear, to name but a few.
Here’s why I’m telling you this. In this film, one of the songs really got my attention. It got me fired up to write this email to you. I hope you love it as much as I do.
The song is:
“A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you’re fast asleep
In dreams you will lose your heartaches,
Whatever you wish for you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling through
NO matter what your heart is dreaming
If you keep on believing
The dream that you wish will come true.”
Your recipe to success in anything you choose is within this song.
Let me translate:
- Select your goal [a wish].
- See what your life would be like having achieved this goal [dream about it].
- Believe that this is possible for you [faith].
Most people find steps 1 and 2 relatively easy. But what makes the difference is developing the FAITH you need to know that your goal is possible.
Your faith or belief in yourself is something you have learned. To get your goal to become a reality, you have to have faith.
Let me give you insight on how you can develop faith. Hit REPLY to this email and tell what a ‘lack of faith’ looks like for you.
Much love,
Neera
