So many times I hear, ‘I can’t visualize’.BUT it’s really not true. Everyone has mastered the art of visualization.
For example, before you cook a meal, you see in your head what you’re going to cook.
When you’re figuring out the best route to drive to the shopping mall, you see it in your head first.
Before you pack for a holiday, you see in your head what you’re going to pack and where each item is located in your house.
So you see, you can visualize.

The REAL question is:HOW DO YOU USE VISUALIZATION TO HIT YOUR GOALS?
Here’s what I recommend:
Step 1:
Write down your goal in visual terms – I call this the ‘movie script’.
What I mean is that if, for example, your goal is to lose weight, then write out exactly what you will look like when you have achieved your goal.
Imagine you are writing a movie script.
Here’s an example movie script:
“I look in the mirror, and I can see that I look amazing.I am 112 lbs and have a 25-inch waist. My favorite clothes it me perfectly—the black and red dress from Principles, my power blue Episode suits, and the black combat trousers with the cream T-shirt. My fridge is full of healthy food like organic eggs, low-fat plain yogurt, cottage cheese, turkey slices, lean steak, organic salmon, spinach, broccoli, and low glycaemic fruit such as blueberries, raspberries, and kiwi fruits.
I go to the gym three times a week; there I run on the treadmill for 20 minutes, work with weights for 20 minutes, and swim for 20 minutes. Martin says to me, ‘Your skin looks amazing’. I feel full of energy and vitality”.
Step 2:
Learn your movie script by heart.
Step 3:
Take 15 minutes out of your day and deliberately run the movie of your goal through your head, imagining you’re the star of the movie.
So, continuing with the example of losing weight, see yourself standing in front of a mirror looking thin and in shape, or perhaps standing on a scale that reads your ideal weight of 112 lbs.
See the favorite clothes that you’re wearing—ones you haven’t been able to fit into for a long time or ones you’ve eyed at the mall. Feel the texture of the clothing and imagine how confident you’ll feel wearing this outfit to dinner.
Do this exercise for a period of 21 days consecutively.
Here’s how this will help you:
- You will wire your goal into your unconscious mind; and
- Once the goal is in the unconscious mind, you will hit your goal.
Above all else, this is a repeatable process, meaning you can use it to hit any goal you like.
And now the world is your oyster!
Hope this helps!
