The other day I had a lady come up to me in the gym saying
how she found it difficult to lose weight.
She was telling me how she lost weight last year,
began to look terrific,
hit a plateau, and in her words had the ‘bounce-back effect’.
Her weight was almost right back to where she had started.
Having said that, she still has managed to keep off 20 lbs,
although she’s got about 40 lbs to go.
This is still a GREAT RESULT.
Here’s why I’m telling you this—
because this is a common theme
I see not only when it comes to losing weight
but with many other goals people might set.
Many people have partial to no success, and
sadly, never hit the goals they set.
They never really experience their true, God-given potential.
Why? Follow me here because this can make the difference between you reaching every goal you set for yourself!
It’s because of a couple of factors:
First, you need to understand how the mind works
and how to harness it for success rather than failure.
Second, it’s also due to what I call the ‘Mini-Me effect’.
Mini-Me is the little voice in your head telling you
what you can and cannot achieve.
Whatever goal you set, you need to get these two vital ingredients
working in your favour. Then you won’t need to depend on discipline and willpower.
You will succeed at hitting your goal.
